I’m so passionate about exfoliating my skin and I’m hoping that others will join me.

Understand that every few weeks new skin cells push up from the lowest layer of epidermis (or a top layer of your skin) to surface. They will then dry up and eventually fall off. Before it falls off your skin may be left oily, flaky and dull.
When you exfoliate once or twice a week, you are actually speeding up that process; so your skin is always healthy and glowing.

There are two types of Exfoliates: One being Physical Exfoliate (form of scrubs containing polyethylene beads which literally physically polish your skin). Second type is Active or Chemical (creams or lotions that contain retinoid, fruit acids and enzymes). Please keep in mind that if you have sensitive skin using products that contain Alpha-hydroxy acids or Beta-hydroxy acids.

I love natural forms of exfoliation, utilizing products such as dead sea salts, coffee and sugar. I exfoliate my lips with sugar and water, I exfoliate my scalp with sugar and olive oil and I exfoliate my body with both sugar and salt with oil.

Please exfoliate your face with TLC! Do not use anything that would be considered abrasive such as crushed nuts, apricot seeds or a loofah on your face, as it may result in skin irritation. Simply rub your face gently in a circular motion using light hand pressure.

In addition keep in mind that before you exfoliate any part of your body, assure that your skin is dry so that your exfoliation is most effective.
